The vocalist and visual artist Violaine Lochu brings together at CEAAC a selection of works created between 2018 and 2026, including a major body of work developed in Strasbourg with patients, caregivers, and healthcare workers. Emerging from her experience of cancer, Crabe Chorus combines voice, image, text, installation, and performance to question the ways in which bodies can reclaim what illness and medical care tend to fragment. From these encounters arises a choir, activated during the exhibition opening as a collective ritual of protection and listening, carrying a sensitive and political vision of illness.
