Battered puppets, disjointed bodies, emerging voices: with Retors paniques, Renaud Herbin imagines a string theatre gone awry, driven by percussion and breath. On stage, Marta Pereira brings a fragile community of small figures back to life, while Anna Fiveiska punctuates their jolts, falls, and surges. Here, softness is neither gentle nor sentimental: it becomes a force of resistance against fear. From these tiny beings, hanging by a thread, emerges a ritual performance of sounds, gestures, and bodies — a way of learning how to rise again.
