Allēlōn — from the ancient Greek ᾰ̓λλήλων, meaning “one another” — is a solo performance by Olivier Duverger Houpert, emerging from a collective process with several composers. In a solo performance, the musician gets into “comprovisation”: written materials serve as a framework for music that evolves in real time, shaped by listening and interaction. Conceived as a performative exhibition, the setup invites the audience to navigate different sound installations, in close proximity to the musical gesture. Saxophones, objects, and electronics create a shifting environment in which each piece forms part of a shared creative ecosystem.
