Young audiences

mini musica

Mini Musica is Strasbourg’s music festival for young audiences — a joyful annual rendezvous where new music opens its doors to the youngest ears and their families.

Since 2020, Mini Musica has been offering a daytime programme specially designed for children — from babies of just 3 months to kids of 10 years old. Performances, concerts, mini-recitals, installations, and hands-on workshops bring music to life in ways that follow the rhythm of childhood. On weekdays, shows are presented during school hours, while musicians lead creative workshops directly in the classroom.

Mini Musica is a true laboratory for musical creation aimed at young audiences. It invites artists, composers, and performers to explore this field with care, imagination and commitment.

Through partnerships with many local institutions and organizations, the festival also helps bring contemporary music to wider audiences, encouraging discovery and curiosity through dedicated outreach projects.

Thanks to its growing success with families, Mini Musica will become an independent festival in 2026, taking place each spring in collaboration with cultural organisations in the City and Eurometropolis of Strasbourg, and the European Collectivity of Alsace.
