Rather than placing punk behind glass, this programme seeks to reopen — if only symbolically — the cellars, squats, makeshift venues, worn-out amplifiers, photocopied posters and crackling memories that still resonate today. From the 1970s to the present, it follows the traces of an Alsatian scene shaped by autonomy, noise, resourcefulness and friendship. Concerts at Église Saint-Paul and La Grenze, alongside encounters with key witnesses of the period at Karmen Camina and Motoco — in connection with the Microsiphon festival — trace a human history transmitted as much through stories as through the objects, images, sounds and remnants that remain.
At HEAR, the “Immediate Archives of Punk” day takes this approach even further: an exhibition assembled in a single day from whatever participants bring along — fanzines, photographs, badges, flyers, fragments of stages or fragments of life. Materials are collected, catalogued, displayed and almost immediately taken down again. On the same day, students take over the school with concerts and performances: an open-door celebration of a punk spirit that never asked for permission.
