Ideally located in Strasbourg — the crossroads of Europe — Musica offers a unique meeting point for music professionals. Each year, the festival works with partners to encourage dialogue and build new forms of cooperation.
Thanks to its geographical and cross-border position, Musica is an epicentre of European new music. The presence and engagement of professional communities during the festival are central. During each edition of the festival, international focuses are organised, highlighting a particular country or cultural area. Other moments of exchange recur from one edition to the next, such as meetings focused on young audiences or those addressing issues of equality and the fight against gender-based and sexual violence in the cultural sector.
