TRANSIT is a tuba concerto in the form of a live endoscopy of the instrument, turning its insides into the stage-set for a surrealistic, cinematic, audio-visual journey. Melvyn Poore and the musicians of the Ensemble Musikfabrik perform “intra-instrumental” choreographies and operate the endoscopic camera showing the miniature actions live on a cinema-sized screen.
