Mariam Rezaei is a multi-award-winning artist — composer, turntablist, and performer. Renowned for her groundbreaking music, she captivates with both dexterity and inventiveness. In the early 2000s, she made her mark on the UK DJ circuit, dazzling behind the decks with other people’s music. But her trajectory soon took a more singular and radical turn: composing with and for the turntables. Whether solo, in duo or trio, or alongside larger ensembles, she creates works that are both fragmented and recomposed with the utmost precision.
