Irish Focus
friday 25 – sunday 27 september
Musica showcases the many facets of new music in Ireland. From traditional sounds to electronic pulses, from peatland landscapes to urban scenes, the programme traces a sonic terrain where memory and invention, heritage and contemporary experimentation intertwine. Concerts and performances are paired with a symposium dedicated to the “Basic Income for the Arts,” recently introduced in Ireland—an initiative that invites reflection on the future of cultural policy in Europe.
On the occasion of Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of Europe.
